Thank you for participating in ISEPD2025

Thank You ! ~ ありがとう, 감사합니다,  谢谢,  ขอบคุณ,  Danke schön,  धन्यवाद,  Merci,  Grazie,  Terima kasih ~

On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the participants, committee members, and all the organizations and companies that supported and sponsored the “ISEPD2025 Osaka” which was successfully held at Grand Cube Osaka, Japan from January 13 (Mon.) to 16 (Thu.), 2025.

The conference featured a wide variety of research presentations with “Eco” as the keyword. The symposium consisted of a plenary session with 5 distinguished plenary speakers and five technical sessions (Green processing of eco-materials, Advanced eco-materials, Energy conversion and storage materials & technologies, Environmental protection materials, and Materials for bio-/biomedical-technologies. Session of Materials Genome: Information-driven materials and processing was integrated into the appropriate session), 81 oral presentations including 11 keynote and 31 invited talks, and 63 poster presentations, for a total of 149 presentations. Not only at the technical sessions but also during the coffee breaks, there were many individual discussions and consultations on future collaborations and cooperations.

At this symposium, the ISEPD2025 Student Best Presentation Award was selected for both oral and poster presentations. Faculty members and researchers from around the world reviewed the presentations, and finally 4 oral and 6 poster presenters who gave particularly excellent presentations were selected as the student best presentation award. The winners were presented with their awards at the symposium banquet on January 15, 2025.

At the Organizing Committee meeting held during the symposium, the outline of this year’s event as well as future plans for ISEPD were discussed; it was decided that the next ISEPD will be held in Wuhan, China in January 2026, which was announced by the next local organizing committee at the end of the symposium banquet.

Today, the global environment, carbon neutrality, energy issues, and the need for a circular economy that is deeply related to these issues are all challenges that need to be solved on a global scale. Under these circumstances, “Eco-Materials” are becoming increasingly important.

We look forward to your participation in the ISEPD series, where many scientists and researchers will continue to gather to discuss current eco-materials processing and their design, building on the research progress made during the past symposium.

See you next year in Wuhan, China!
